Natures
Food are proud to be distributors for 'Natures Sunshine' health supplement
products.'Natures Sunshine' go to extraordinary steps to ensure that each
and every product undergoes thorough testing for purity and the correct
amount of active ingredients.Unfortunately, it is a fact that too many 'so-called'
herbal supplement manufacturers and retailers are soley profit motivated,
and many supplements on sale in the shops, supermarkets, and even dedicated
health stores contain little or no 'active ingredient', either to deliberately
reduce costs, or the herbs have become contaminated by polutants, pesticides,
or even mixed with other herbs in transit or storage! |
| 'Natures Sunshine'herbal supplements
are pure...The active ingrediant is scientifically extracted from the 'correct
'part of the herb for maximum beneficial effect Laboratory test's have
proven that many ' well known ' manufacturers simply grind-up
the whole herb, often losing the critical 'active ingredient' renduring
the end product either useless, or at best poor quality and ineffective...Although
their herbal products may be impregnated with pesticides, soil, and even
contaminated with other herbs during storage, they are doing nothing illegal.
And they are still entitled to call it by it's original herbal name. Even
though the beneficial part of the plant has been destroyed ! |
Nature's Sunshine use over 300 testing
procedures to guarantee purity and potency. One of these procedures is
Thin Layer Chromatography which allows Nature's Sunshine to identify
herbs and determine their quality. The Chromatograph (below) shows a rejected
batch of St John's Wort compared to Nature's Sunshine's authentic St John's
Wort. The results show that the rejected batch does not contain the active
ingredients Hypericin and Pseudohypericin, resulting in a herb that would
have little or no effect.
Some companies do not have the technology to test for active ingredients,
or even to differentiate between synthetic and natural ingredients. 'Many
ingredients in supplements on the market today are synthetic'.
Synthetic versions do not contain all of the active ingredients which
are found in naturally sourced health products. Natural products are more
effectively assimilated in the body. |
